Tony Tambasco directs reading of GÖDEL

Tony Tambasco directs a staged reading of William Hugel's new play GÖDEL at Theatre For The New City on March 12th, 7PM as part of TNC's "scratch night" series. GÖDEL tells the story of a motley crew of mathematicians and physicists who risk madness to know the mind of God.

GÖDEL features Toby Miller, Kitty Mortland, Robert Resnikoff*, Marc LeVasseur*, Paul Battiato* and Atticus Cain*. a talkback with the playwright and members of the cast will follow the reading.

Tambasco directed a second developmental reading of GÖDEL on 26 March 2018 at Studios 353 in New York. This reading featured Toby Miller, Shanel Sparr, Richard Sacher, Dave Chura, Richard Alwyn, and Gabriel Pena.

WRITER BIO: WILLIAM K HUGEL is an emerging NYC based playwright. His plays have had productions, readings, or workshops at Theater For The New City, Stella Adler, Pulse Ensemble Theater, Between Us Productions, Playwrights at The Grand and The Midtown International Theater Festival. Publishing credits include "Gypsy Courtyard," published by The Furious Gazelle; "The White Stag," published by Atticus Review; and a collection of original fairy tales. He believes that theater should challenge our cultural assumptions of what we think we know, look beyond politics and the everyday, and expand our understanding of what it means to be human.
